Family photos with the lovely Lang Family

It’s a whole new world!

Cue the Disney music as there’s a new princess in town who’s out to explore the world! Evelyn had a wonderful time during her first trip to the beach; building sand castles and picking up seashells, walking along the edge of the ocean and running along beach sand.

Brighton Beach is really beautiful

We met at Brighton Beach. The perfect summer’s day; beautifully sunny, the lightest sea breeze, the smell of the ocean (the fresh kind, not the stinky seaweed kind), a few seagulls and sand everywhere, definitely sand as far as Evelyn’s little eyes could see!

It was great watching as Justin & Keshet introduced Evelyn to the wonder of building sand castles. They even got their own inner developer on and built multi-level sand castles, impressive indeed! There were squeals of delight and amazement as Evelyn lifted the bucket to reveal a sand castle! Seeing her play with the sand and feeling the texture in her hands as it poured through her fingers was so adorable.

The love displayed in this family is even more beautiful

Witnessing Justin & Keshet’s patience, love and caring for Evelyn was beautiful and inspirational. The deep loving bond in this family shone brilliantly. It showed when Justin was holding Evelyn’s hand while walking along the shore. It showed when Keshet carried Evelyn to give her a better vantage point. And it showed when Justin & Keshet were both holding Evelyn as she investigated the new seashells she had found. A strong foundation of love is ever present in this family.

True love for a two year old is ice-cream!

The lovely morning sun showed no sign of slowing down, and without a cloud in the sky, it was quickly turning into a rather hot day. So, what better way to end a day at the beach than with an ice-cream!? And as far as Evelyn was concerned, ice-cream should only come in one colour… YELLOW!

After securing our prize of a yellow ice-cream, we found a tree providing a glorious reprieve from the sun. Seated in the shade Evelyn enjoyed, nay demolished, her ice-cream, enjoying every bit of gooey, sticky, sweet tasting ice-creamy heaven.

Under the tree is where we met Michael and his Husky, Angel. He often brings her to the beach for a swim and she has the gentlest nature we’ve ever seen. We will share a few more captured moments of them in our next blog.

Until then – have fun, stay safe and God bless!
